World’s third and India’s second largest cricket stadium goes to be in-built Jaipur. An MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) may be signed between Rajasthan Cricket Academy (RCA) and private agency Hindustan Zinc regarding this.
On the occasion of Make investments Rajasthan Summit-2022 organized by the state authorities, Anil Agarwal (Chairman Vedanta Group) had launched cooperation inside the Worldwide Cricket Stadium being constructed by RCA.
Within the MoU signing ceremony to be organized on the occasion of Rajasthan Day at RCA, Dr CP Joshi (Chairman Rajasthan Legislative Meeting and Chief Patron RCA), Vaibhav Gehlot (Chairman Rajasthan Cricket Affiliation) may be present. As per the selection made by RCA, the stadium may be named as ‘Anil Agarwal Worldwide Cricket Stadium-Jaipur’ after signing the MoU.
Stadium being constructed on 100 acres
The state authorities, beneath the chairmanship of Rajasthan Cricket President Vaibhav Gehlot, has allotted 100 acres of land to RCA at Delhi Street, Jaipur. The stadium is being constructed on it. The Worldwide Cricket Stadium being constructed by the Rajasthan Cricket Affiliation in Jaipur can have a functionality of 75,000 spectators. After the completion of this grand stadium, it may well develop into the world’s third and India’s second largest cricket stadium, by which spectators could have the power to learn from the cricket match.
Building may be achieved in 2 phases
The event work of this grand cricket stadium being in-built Jaipur may be achieved in 2 phases. The work of the first half is beneath improvement, by which a world class stadium with a functionality of 40,000 spectators may be constructed. The entire worth of making it’s going to be Rs 400 crore, out of which Rs 300 crore may be given by a private agency (Hindustan Zinc Restricted) and the remaining amount of Rs 100 crore may be given by RCA.
